An excellent book about lost golf courses in Minnesota. It is a very good read and a quick read. The type of book that you will want to keep on the shelf and read again. I am waiting for Part II to come out.
This was a great book on golfing in Minnesota. Excellent blend of first-person comments with the story of various Minnesota golf courses. The author covers the State very well touching on unique golf courses throughout Minnesota. It is a must have for someone wanting to delve into the history of golf in Minnesota.
A great amount of old-fashioned FootJoy leather went into the making of this book. Bissen has been an outstanding reporter and chronicler of Minnesota golf for years, and his hard work and passion for his subject has culminated in this breezy, fact-packed, easy-to-read volume.
I was able to read a little from this book. It read fantastic, what little I read. If you're from Minnesota and love Minnesota Golf history or just love golf history in general...You will enjoy this read. I will order my own copy and enjoy.
